The Events Committee works closely with the Networking Committee to plan and organize events to help Pi Chapter members grow as Marriage and Family Therapists. These events include the quarterly inductions, networking events, and webinars.

The current chair of the Events Committee is Stephanie Pile.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Duties of Committee Members

Time Commitment (approximately):

Help plan and organize events to help Pi Chapter members grow as Marriage and Family Therapists-

i.e. quarterly inductions, networking events, and webinars.

Provide support to the Pi Chapter of Delta Kappa in planning and executing all Chapter sanctioned events.

Implement the overall strategy and vision from the Pi Chapter for events that enhance member experience.

Recruit volunteers and keep them engaged with all Pi Chapter committees and honor’s society

Time Commitment (approximately):

Committee meetings – 1 hour per month

Program events collaboration, maintenance and updates – 30 minutes per month

Responding to committee or board inquiries – 1 hour per month

Occasional webinars and Pi Chapter events – 1 to 2 hours per month (approximately 20 to 30 minutes per week)

Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the chair – 1 hour per month

Total approximate commitment – 6 hours
